Ceramic Lips
Luscious, laughing, loose lips. I select this potent symbol of speech, love, hate, betrayal, and nourishment, as the focal point of my most recent sculptural abstractions in clay. I am fascinated with these two curvy lines at the perimeter of our mouths. They are the edge of our visible, exterior selves, and the gateway into our private, emotional, interior being.
