The social and performative nature of glassblowing inspires me to produce lively and energetic work that focuses on color and texture. I select bright and sometimes wild colors for my frit bowls, which transforms this everyday object into an extraordinary and festive one. I am reminded of the luxurious print that covers the saltwater Parrotfish as I place flowers, floating candles, and fresh produce in these unusual bowls.
